As the Founding Pastors of City Impact Church, Peter and Bev Mortlock have a passion for building strong churches and helping people encounter Christ that has only grown since they planted City Impact Church in 1982.
From humble beginnings in a community hall to the thousands-strong church with campuses across the globe that we see today. It’s been an epic journey and God’s hand and blessing has been all over it…
What We Believe
We are a Bible-believing, Jesus worshipping, Pentecostal Christian Church founded on the truth of the Bible. Learn more of what we believe in our Statement of Faith and Vision Statement.
Here at City Impact Church, one of our culture statements is “We are large enough to make a difference, small enough to care.” Each year we extend the work of the gospel thoughout New Zealand, India, Mexico, Philippines, Tonga, Thailand, Tanzania, China, and Fiji. It is a privilege to see the impact we can have across the globe.
Through our “Here to Help” and Community Impact initiatives, we can reach out to those in need in our local communities. Providing, meals, clothes, blankets, and home and garden makeovers.
Kids Church is super cool! Every Sunday we have jam-packed programmes full of praise, worship, and animated Bible stories – it’s church the way kids love it! For kids aged 1 year to kids in School Year 6.
City Impact Youth meets every Friday night and whether it’s getting together for Youth Church, Small Groups or hanging out somewhere local, we bring the fun! For Intermediate and High Schoolers.
Here To Help
What started out of a national lockdown, Here To Help is an initiative where we practically help those in our community needing meals. We have an awesome team who makes meals weekly and delivers them out.
Connected to our North Shore Campus in Albany, Auckland, we are proud to have a well-established Private Christian School, an Arts Academy that specialises in music and dance, a Childcare Centre and a Pre-School. We also have Childcare Centres connected to our campuses in Mt Wellington, Queenstown, and Balclutha.
