What do you do when your trust is tested?

“trust in the Lord with all your heart & lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him & he will make your paths straight.”
Proverbs 3:5-6

Have you ever found yourself asking the question, ‘God what are you doing here? This isn’t going how I expected..’ or maybe you’ve found yourself in a battle where you know The Word of God says one thing but your own understanding, or culture’s idea on the same thing is telling you something different. 💕

What do you do when your TRUST IS TESTED?

I’ve found this testing of my trust only really happens when there’s a difference in the way I’d deal with things compared to how God deals with things.
Do I really trust God with my paths when the road ahead of me doesn’t look as smooth and straight as I would like? Do I really trust God’s way when my understanding on things is different?

For us to trust God and His ways, it needs to start with that divine revelation that His character is trustworthy.

Here’s a few things that the Bible says about Gods character:
✨ God is faithful
✨ God is loving
✨ God is all-knowing
✨ God is kind
✨ God is good and what He does is good

So, when you find yourself in a place where you don’t understand what Gods doing, when you’re tempted to try and figure things out in your own understanding rather than trusting Gods way. Take a deep breath and remember that God is trustworthy. He knows you; He created you; He loves you and he knows what’s best for you. The end result of this kind of trust, comes with the promise that God will make your paths straight. 💫💖🫶
