At City Impact Church North Canterbury, Kids Church is a welcoming space where children can learn about God, build friendships and grow in their faith through fun and engaging experiences. Our heart is to help children encounter God, understand His Word and feel confident in who He created them to be.
AGE GROUPS:
We currently provide Kids Church for children aged 3 to 10 years.
We also have a nursery room available for toddlers and babies, which includes a live feed of the service so parents can care for their children while still being part of church.
WHEN KIDS CHURCH RUNS:
Kids Church runs during our Sunday morning service.
Children join the main church for worship and then head to their Kids Church program.
WHAT KIDS EXPERIENCE:
Each week, children enjoy a fun and meaningful program that includes:
- Worship in the main church
- Bible stories and biblical teaching
- Games and activities
Our focus is helping children understand God’s Word and grow in their relationship with Him in a supportive environment.
WHAT PARENTS NEED TO KNOW:
Sign-in and registration
We use a sign-in form for all children. Kids can be signed in before the service begins or after worship when children head to their program.
When to arrive
Please sign your child in before the service starts if possible, or after worship.
Where to go on a Sunday
Our friendly ushers team will help show you where to go and assist you with sign-in.
Food and allergies
We hand out biscuits at the end of the session, so please ensure any allergy information is included on the sign-up form.
What to bring
Nothing is required. Just bring your child ready to learn and have fun.
Can parents sit in for the first time
Yes, parents are welcome to sit in with their child during their first visit.

If it’s your first time, you are so welcome. Our team would love to meet you, help you get signed in and make sure both you and your child feel comfortable and confident.
