Practical support for families in our communities
Through Here to Help, City Impact Church works alongside schools, hospitals, and community organisations to provide practical help to people facing difficult circumstances.
From food and clothing to family violence packs, baby essentials and hygiene products, our teams help meet real needs across our communities.
Meet The Team
Pastor Mary-Kath Laita
Mary-Kath has been serving our communities since 2008, building strong relationships with families, schools, hospitals, Police and community organisations across Auckland.
Through Here to Help, she helps connect people facing difficult circumstances with practical support, from food, clothing and household essentials to family violence packs, hygiene products and car seats. Whether responding to an immediate need or working alongside local organisations, her heart is to make sure help reaches the people who need it most.

FOOD SUPPORT
DISTRIBUTION
Each month, hundreds of frozen meals and food hampers are distributed to families in need. Rescued food is also collected and transformed into nutritious meals, helping good food go further and reach people who need it most.
CLOTHING AND
BABY ESSENTIALS
SUPPORTING CHILDREN & SCHOOLS
Hygiene packs are provided to schools for children who may not have access to everyday essentials, helping ensure they have what they need.
HOSPITAL SUPPORT
Each month, hampers and prepared meals are provided through Middlemore Hospital to support families with loved ones in hospital, as well as patients returning home without adequate food or support.
FAMILY VIOLENCE SUPPORT
Family violence packs containing practical essentials are supplied to Police across Auckland, giving officers resources they can provide directly to families during vulnerable and challenging situations.
CAR SEATS FOR CHILDREN
Car seats are provided through Police for families who cannot afford them, supporting efforts to ensure babies and young children can travel safely.
