At City Impact Church Dunedin, we provide a welcoming and relaxed space where children can engage with church in a way that suits their age and stage. Our heart is to help kids experience God, enjoy being part of church and feel comfortable in a safe and supportive environment.
AGE GROUPS:
We offer activities for children aged 2 to 12 years.
We also provide a nursery space for parents with babies or younger children, where you can care for your child while still being part of the service.
WHEN KIDS CHURCH RUNS:
Kids activities are available during our 10:00am Sunday service.
Children can participate for the whole service or join after worship, depending on what works best for your family.
WHAT KIDS EXPERIENCE:
We provide a flexible and engaging space where children can learn and connect through:
Activity books
Games and play
Worship
Bible stories
Occasional lessons (when there are enough children present)
Our aim is to help children connect with God while enjoying church in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
WHAT PARENTS NEED TO KNOW:
When to arrive
You can arrive from 9:30am.
Where to go on a Sunday
When you walk into the main building, you will see the sunroom on the right-hand side. This is where we have tables set up for children. Parents are welcome to sit with their children and watch them while still being able to hear the message.
What to bring
Nothing is required. If your child is in nappies, please bring what they need.
Can parents sit in for the first time
Absolutely. Just let the team know and we will provide you with a visitor lanyard.
VISITING FOR THE FIRST TIME:
If it’s your first time, we would love to welcome you and your family. Our team is here to help you feel comfortable, answer any questions and help your children settle in.
