At City Impact Church Great South Road, Kids Church is a vibrant, engaging space where children can grow in their faith, connect with others and learn about God in ways that are age-appropriate and fun. We believe every child can encounter God, understand His Word and be encouraged to live it out in their daily lives.
AGE GROUPS:
Under 5s – 473 Great South Road
1-Year-Olds: A calm, nurturing room with floor play activities, encouraging children through scripture and worship as they settle in.
2-Year-Olds: Begin with activities related to the Bible story of the day, then move into Story Time and age-specific activities to reinforce the lesson.
3–4-Year-Olds: Start with a social group activity introducing the story and key point. After Story Time and worship, children break into small groups for activities and social connection, continuing to build on the key biblical principle.
Over 5s – 475 Great South Road, NEXT GEN Auditorium
Children enter a settling-in area with games and activities to meet volunteers and connect with peers.
School Years 1 & 2: Participate in a large group activity to learn the day’s key principle, then move into age-specific lessons and small groups of around 10 children. Activities and discussions reinforce the lesson, concluding with a time for prayer.
School Years 3–6: Begin with an age-specific lesson and Bible story, followed by small group discussions and activities. Children learn practical ways to live out biblical principles, are supported by small group leaders and end with prayer for one another and for applying the lesson.
WHEN KIDS CHURCH RUNS:
Kids Church runs simultaneously with our adult services at 10:00am.
Drop-off and registration: From 9:30am, head to the café area where our New Families Desk is located. Our team will register your family, help with sign-in and guide you to the correct rooms for your child’s age group.
WHAT KIDS EXPERIENCE:

Opportunities to pray and apply what they’ve learned
Our Kids Church program is designed to help children grow in confidence, faith and understanding of God’s Word in a safe, supportive and interactive environment.
WHAT PARENTS NEED TO KNOW:
Secure Pick-Up Code: Please hold on to your code, as you will need it to collect your child after the service.
Where to go: Café area for registration and drop-off. A team member will show you the right space for your child.
What to bring: Nothing extra required; children just need to come ready to have fun and learn.
First-time visitors: Welcome! Our team would love to meet you and help your child feel comfortable and settled.
