Dear Church,

As a church, the health and safety of our congregation whenever we meet together, is important to us.

We are listening to advice from the Ministry of Health and public health officials, and other churches worldwide. In light of that, we are reviewing our processes as we all work towards doing what we can to limit the spread of Coronavirus in our city, communities, and nation.

As part of this, we will be increasing the number of Sunday services at our North Shore and Mt Wellington Campuses, to ensure that we can accommodate the recommendations currently in place regarding gatherings of no more than 500+ people.

Please note we are also currently reviewing how we will roll out our upcoming events such as Easter and our annual conference Global Impact. With the situation changing daily, we will share updates closer to the time of these events.

These days of challenges should not be a surprise to the Church, and I do believe that people need the Church as never before, a place of faith, hope, and love.
It is vitally important for the community that our doors stay open.
City Impact Church will continue to be a safe place where people can come and find peace with God.

So we will rise to these challenging times together praying for our nation, the Body of Christ, the Church and for the many people in our communities whose lives are impacted.

Jesus said:
John 14v1 “Let not your heart be troubled, believe in God, believe also in me”.
v27 “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”

Blessings,

Pastors Peter and Bev Mortlock
