The Real Meaning of Christmas
For Christians Christmas is a very important time of year. This is because we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
As you know, Christmas is a significant time for Christians worldwide. Christmas is a time we stop and celebrate the birth of Jesus!
Jesus wasn’t just another baby being born but the Son of God coming down to earth. Jesus was born in a manger; it represented a saviour coming. Growing up, Jesus lived a perfect and sinless life, which led to death on a cross. He didn’t deserve that death on a cross, but he did it for payment for our sins and mistakes. He removed every obstacle between God and us. And because of Jesus, we can now have a right relationship with God.
You can know this right relationship by believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth that Jesus is lord and he rose again from the grave. Below is a prayer you can pray out loud.
Prayer:
Dear Jesus, thank you that you loved me enough to die on my behalf.
Right now, I ask for forgiveness; I receive your hope.
I will live my life for you and with you. In Jesus name, Amen.
