Senior Pastors Peter and Bev

Peter & Bev Mortlock are the Senior Pastors of City Impact Church Auckland. They have a passion for building strong churches that make a difference in their communites. Since that morning in 1982 when their first service was held in a little Browns Bay community hall, the number coming along has increased to over 3,500, the building is much nicer and the locations also include Queenstown, Invercargill, Gore, Balclutha and Canada.

 It's a simple plan. Build places that will help people live the kind of life they've always wanted, do life together, and know that it's Jesus Christ who makes it all possible.

The leadership of Pastors Peter and Bev is at the core of how they've managed to do it, having built a great team driven by the same dream - local focus & global impact.

Pastor Peter is the one we're running to keep pace with - every moment counts! It's inspiring to see how he applies that drive to meeting people and sharing the difference that Jesus has made in his life. He sees every Sunday message as an opportunity to build into people's lives and make a principle or two from the Bible a foundation in their world. He is a man of huge vision with an apostolic platform, always looking for where God may be leading.
