The following principles undergird our philosophy and underlie all administration, operation and practices in early childhood care and education at City Impact Church.
We are a Christian Early Childhood Centre, committed to providing childcare and education of excellence. Our purpose is to enhance the development of children in all areas of Biblical belief, lifestyle, behaviour, character and habit. Children develop to their fullest potential when education and care is offered within an environment of spiritual character, values and principles.
Our desire is to care for and nurture the coming generations, sharing the love and truth of Jesus Christ with children and their families.
We recognise varied individual learning characteristics and provide a rich, exciting and fun play environment where children are able to explore, create, discover, contribute, choose and learn.

Opening Times - Childcare is open Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 6.00pm.
Nappies - If your child is in nappies, please bring disposables with them. Either send a supply each day in their bags along with any creams, or you may wish to provide a bulk packet for ongoing use. Please put their name clearly on the packet.
Toileting - We work with you to support your child through the toilet training process.
Food - We provide a well-balanced and nutritious diet. A main meal is provided at lunch time, with fruit and snacks at morning and afternoon tea. Water is served as a drink at all mealtimes and is available for children throughout the day. If your child has any special dietary needs you may like to talk to us about them when you enroll. Please don’t send any chocolate or lollies to Childcare with your child.
Food Allergies - Occasionally, we have children with severe food allergies. Please check with the staff when your child starts to see if there are any restrictions in place.
Clothing – Childcare = fun, so please dress your child in suitable clothing for play! Don’t forget a sunhat in the summer and jackets and hats in the colder months. Make sure all their clothing has their name on it.
Personal Toys - Please don’t bring special toys from home, they can get lost or damaged. “Sleeping buddies” can be kept in their bag specifically for sleeptime. Please put names on these too if possible.
Sleeptime - We have a lovely sleep-room to cater for all ages. Please tell the supervisor about your child’s needs.
